New Moon in Virgo

Or how to declutter and get back on track!

As the Virgo season settles down deeply with this New Moon, several aspects that are essential to our well being emerge. New moons are always a good time to start afresh, get ready, do the work, think a project deeply and plan. This is especially true when the Moon is in Virgo, the sign of organisation, cleanliness and health among other things.

What does it mean practically?

Well, if the holidays (or Leo season!!) made you overindulge in all good things that life has to offer (hello cocktails, desserts and parties all night), this is the perfect time to readjust and get back to healthy habits! Your body and mind will thank you and it will help you deal with the ‘back-to-school/work/routine’ mood that’s just around the corner!

So, to make the most of this fantastic lunation, here are a few tips that will hopefully help you!

  • Stay hydrated, water is so cleansing!
  • Cut the crap out (quite literally, junk food, sodas, you know!) and try to eat healthy homemade meals and lots of fruits.
  • Try as much as possible to swap coffee for herbal teas!
  • Make a list of things you want to declutter or sort out, this is the right time!
  • Gift your body a nice massage and/or implement a new skincare routine.
  • Try to stretch your body, do some yoga or pilates to feel good and refreshed.
  • Clean your place and smudge it, energetic reset couldn’t be better this weekend!
  • Take a look at your finances and budget for the coming months.
