  • New Moon in Cancer

Or how to nurture our emotions and intentions!

    Vero Manrique on Unsplash

On July 5th, at 22:57 GMT, the Moon and the Sun both at 14° of Cancer will offer us a comforting New Moon in Cancer.

A New Moon always feels like a fresh start and in the sign of the Crab, the fresh start is all about nourishment, intuition, inner peace, comfort and security. The sign of Cancer is deeply linked to care and protection and finds its power in its own world within and its roots and ancestral wisdom. At their best, Cancerians are amazing providers of comfort and peace, bringing this maternal energy to the people they love.

With this lunation, the themes expressed above are significant. No matter where Cancer falls in our personal chart, the questions we need to ask ourselves are the following: how can I bring a sense of comfort and safety to myself and to others? What practices should I implement to feel emotionally nurtured and secure? How can I distinguish intuition from anxiety?

This New Moon feels very supportive, the Moon is the most at ease and blissful in Cancer and the chart of this lunation is quite harmonious. A series of trines and sextiles to Mars, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune brings softness and flow to the energy and a subtle yet strong back up for our intentions setting.

There is a lot of water and feminine energy during this New Moon and it plays the role of a soft power and guide. This is not a time to push and act forcefully but rather to let things unravel while knowing that what is meant for us will never pass us by. Like the High Priestess, sitting on a throne with no ceiling above and her feet in the water, we are invited to harmonise our emotions with our subconscious and to let manifestations come to us. Our instinctual side is highlighted now and it is a great gift: the inner compass that guides us to the most beneficial path.

So, after meditating and being in tune with our emotions, we can set intentions and work some Moon Magic! May all ease, comfort and nurturing feelings be ours and may we find peace and security all over the world.

Wishing you all a wonderful New Moon in Cancer 🤍 🤍 🤍

  • Full Moon in Capricorn

Or how to see the path more clearly!

    Abigail Low on Unsplash

On June 22nd at 1:07 GMT, the Moon at 1° of Capricorn will be opposing the Sun at 1° of Cancer, giving us a strong Full Moon in Capricorn.

This the first Full Moon in Capricorn, the second one occuring on July 21st at 29° of Capricorn. This already offers so much insight, the June Full Moon representing a beginning and the July one an ending.

Capricorn is related to our 3D world and body: structure, governement, bones, discipline, responsibilities but also to wisdom, patience and intuition (let us not forget the glyph of the sign, the Sea-Goat, that can dive deep into the inner/instinctual world).

The Full Moon occurs only two days after the Summer Solstice and the beginning of Cancer Season, making its energy very powerful.

So this lunation feels like the beginning of a discovery, it’s like we’re peeking through the veil and getting a glimpse of where we should go and what we should do. Full Moons, after all, light up an area of our life so we can gain some clarity. In Capricorn, it is linked to structure, path and discipline: what can we do to reach our goals and improve our life? What lessons have we learnt and how can we use them to evolve?

The chart of this lunation is interesting because we have a T-Square between the Moon, Neptune and the Sun: we’re seeing more clearly what we should do to feel more comfortable, nurtured and secure. Sometimes, the Sea-Goat keeps on going, ignoring pain and red flags and the Sun, Venus and Mercury in Cancer are acting like a gentle team, reminding us to slow down and nurture ourselves.

A Full Moon is also associated with release and in Cappy, it may mean letting go of an outdated way of doing things, letting go of depreciation and perhaps letting go of workaholic behaviours. We are in Cancer Season, we should try to flow and moreover, the ruler of this Full Moon, Saturn, is in Pisces: less control, more fluidity.

This lunation seems like the first step on a staircase, we might not see all the steps but we are invited to move up, trusting our intuition and releasing the need for control (i.e: knowing everything beforehand). We will discover tools and goodies along the way, let’s just go with the flow!

Wishing you all a wonderful Cancer Season and an eye-opening first Full Moon in Capricorn 🤍🤍🤍

  • New Moon in Gemini

Or how to write your own story!

Photo by Aaron Burden on Unsplash

On June 6th, at 12:37 GMT, the Sun and the Moon will be conjunct at 16° of Gemini, gifting us a New Moon in the sign of the Twins.

Gemini rules communication, information, wit, writing, languages among many other things. As the sign of duality, Gemini may appear scattered or two-faced but it’s most likely the expressio of a difficulty to balance both sides. When in harmony and in perfect unity, the Twins can accomplish anything. The ‘only’ obstacle they have to overcome is their inner saboteur… At the time of this New Moon however, with 5 planets in Gemini, luck is on their side and on any part of our chart where Gemini can be found!

This lunation has a real alchemy to it: it seems to me like a game of balancing the Yin and the Yang energies to channel an immense power to manifest our dreams. The Sun and the Moon are in a deep conversation, while Jupiter, Mercury and Venus are gathered around the table as well. The rules are simple, we need to alchemise our feminine and masculine energies: the Moon and the Sun, Venus and Jupiter and last but not least the androgynous Mercury. So keeping our equilibrium between emotions and ego, caring for others and caring for ourselves, receiving information and giving some of it, unifiying our mental body with our physical one is all that we should try to do during this New Moon and Gemini Season as well!

As with all New Moons, we have a clean slate and the opportunity to plant new seeds. With this one, writing intentions is especially potent for 2 main reasons: Gemini rules hands and writing and Jupiter, the bringer of good luck entered Gemini on May 25th. So we better get these dreams on paper and keep our vibration high so they manifest into our reality!

Mercury is very close to Jupiter at the time of the New Moon so we can expect some positive news, great ideas and even new perspectives opening up for us. We might learn some significant pieces of information that will help us get clarity and even a new path!

Both Jupiter and Mercury are in a sextile to Pluto in Aquarius, giving us the green light to write our story as we want it to be, after having gathered wisdom and knowledge. It’s a great time to reinvent ourselves taking the best of our past and moving towards a future full of possibilities.

Jupiter sextile Neptune in Pisces brings some dreamy imagination and definitely helps us dissolve daily anxiety to get into a more flowy state.

The Sun, the Moon and Venus in Gemini are in a square to Saturn in Pisces and I see this aspect as a call for patience (not Gemini’s best asset) and for playing by the rule. Trying to bypass anything won’t work, staying focussed and methodical in our approach is a necessity to be able to turn our dreams into our reality.

Wishing you all plenty of meaningful manifestions 🤍🤍🤍

I come from no country, from no city, no tribe. I am the son of the road… all tongues and all prayers belong to me. But I belong to none of them.

  • Full Moon in Sagittarius

Or how to get a good clear and meaningful look at our dreams!

    Jon Tyson for Unsplash

On May 23rd, at 13.52 GMT, the Moon at 2° of Sagittarius will oppose the Sun at 2° of Gemini creating a transformative Full Moon in Sagittarius.

The Gemini/Sagittarius axis is focussed on ideas, communication and moving back and forth from a bigger picture to the details of it. Philosophy, beliefs, languages, information are likely to be highlighted under this Full Moon. The energy is very intense and even though the Moon is associated with our emotions, I feel like our mental energy will be enhanced as well with this lunation. There’s a real quest for meaning and a reassessment of our dreams and goals. Seeing what hasn’t worked for us, gaining clarity and a bit of boldness that was definitely lacking: these are the ingredients that this Full Moon will provide us!

A Full Moon is putting an area of our lives under the spotlight. In Sagittarius, this area is linked to what we want to achieve and why we want to achieve it. What are our beliefs? What is driving us? How do we envision the future? There is certainly a positive outlook with the sign of the Archer and a real trust in the Universe and its plan.

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius is at 29° of Taurus: this is a significant degree in astrology as it represents the finish line, the completion of a cycle. Jupiter is opposing the Moon in Sagittarius and to me this feels like a final opportunity to see where we have been and to move on with the tools we have gathered along the way. For life is both a gift and a game and we have to keep learning to progress, evolve and have fun.

Both luminaries are well aspected with Pluto retrograding in Aquarius and this is a great asset: we have the possibility to understand deeply our motivations, our mistakes (if there’s such a thing) and how to alchemise the lessons we learned into wisdom and success. In the sign of Aquarius, we also blend the qualities of the thinker and communicator Gemini with the future oriented and straight-to-the-point Sagittarius! The Universe is gifting us ideas, solutions, creativity and the ability to move forward gracefully and with purpose.

Of course, this is a Full Moon and we have to understand it as a way to see clearly and release what no longer serves our highest good. To advance on our path, to keep learning, to find meaning and gems of wisdom, we must be ready to let go of limited perceptions, toxicity and negative self-talk. This might be the most difficult task required of us but also the most rewarding. So let’s walk on lightly, a bit more freely and always expecting the best for everything starts in the Mind and the Mind is everything. And with Gemini and Sagittarius, the mind and soul are definitely everything.

Wishing you miracles, movement forward and purpose 🤍🤍🤍

  • New Moon in Taurus

Or how to create abundance and security!

    Le Petale Studio on Unsplash

On May 08th, at 03:21 GMT, the Sun and the Moon will be conjunct at 18° of Taurus, gifting us a comforting New Moon in Taurus.

Taurus represents the ‘I have’ part of our souls. It is a zodiac sign that encompasses many qualities (patience, creativity, grounding presence, an eye for beauty) as well as many needs (to feel comfortable, to have a cosy space, to eat good, nutritious foods, to have time to relax and the list goes on!). Settled right in the middle of Spring, when flowers are blooming and Nature is awake, Taurus season elevate our senses and helps us tune in to the abundance that Mother Earth provides us. It also creates a desire to make the most of this moment and to enjoy pleasure and opulence in all shapes and forms.

With five planets in the sign of the Bull, the emphasis is on grounding our energy to manifest more abundance and a life that resonates with us. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, meaning la luna can express her full potential without obstacles. How do we feel and what do we want to create so our emotional life is flourishing gracefully? Venus, at home in the sign of Taurus is helping in that pursuit by adding artistry and enjoyment to the mix: what makes us feel thriving and alive? And above all, what do we like doing and what makes us feel really good about ourselves? The Sun is very close to Uranus and Jupiter and this, to me, is an invitation to manifest big time. All the ingredients are gathered (relationships, grounding, emotions, identity, creativity and the big picture) along with some luck to reach our full potential!

Mars, the planet of drive, ambition and decisive action is in its home sign Aries and that means the red planet is super powerful. We can channel its energy and intensity into taking steps towards creating our heaven on earth.

The Sun and the Moon are forming a sextile with Saturn in Pisces and this looks like some ease and a clear ability to overcome obstacles using our wisdom and the wisdom of the elements. The path we have walked on is serving its purpose: to guide us with clarity and knowledge, to evolve while learning from the past.

Pluto’s retrograde in Aquarius is supporting our personal development and transformation with the common idea of learning from our mistakes and turning them into wisdom and fuel for our future.

Setting intentions that resonate genuinely and strongly with what we are and what we want while working with the spirits of Nature can help us manifest tremendously and the New Moon in Taurus brings its magic to support us.

May you be blessed, abundant and magical 🤍🤍🤍

  • Full Moon in Scorpio

Or how to face what needs healing!

    Martino Pietropoli on Unspash

On April 23rd, at 23:48 GMT, the Sun at 4° of Aries will be opposite the Moon at 4° of Scorpio, creating a very transformational Full Moon in Scorpio.

A Full Moon is a guiding light from the Universe inviting us to see without filter what has been preventing us from growing and evolving. From unhealed trauma to toxic coping mechanisms, we travel through life with a real need for healing and building healthy habits and thoughts. This task is not an easy one, we must unfold layers upon layers of trauma, self-doubt, negative thinking and poisonous attachments. To find oneself, to be genuinely who we are meant to be, we must face our shadows, embrace them, accept them and release them. Easier said than done.

This is where the Full Moon in Scorpio appears, intense, transformative, brave and ready to show us what we need to transmute.

With a lot of energy in Aries, the sign of the self, of the I AM, there is definitely a focus on our essence and substance. Who are we really, deep in our core? The Sun, Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus are highlighting our self-worth and what we have, not only on the material plane but also inside us. What qualities and resources do we possess and how can we hone our skills and use them better? To transform and expand, we have to know where we stand and a careful self-assessment is required. The Moon in Scorpio is in a square to Pluto (Scorpio’s ruler) in Aquarius: we might feel ungrounded and might want to escape working on our not-so-pleasant feelings and emotions but this is so necessary anyway. The square between the Sun in Taurus and Pluto is adding some pressure to the mix: along with running away fron our feelings, we also might feel like wallowing into what’s comfortable and easy and we may even be very stubborn at that time.

Transformation doesn’t come easily. The rewards, however, are life-changing. So let’s dive deep without fear so we can expand and rise to the next level. Let’s release the chains we created and let’s start our ascension. By harnessing the powerful energy of the Scorpio archetype, we will experience a powerful shift.

With love, strength and light 🤍 🤍 🤍

  • New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries

Or how to gather our energy to start and ignite something!

    Herbert Goetsch on Unsplash

On April 8th, at 18:18 GMT, the Moon in Aries will sit between the Sun in Aries and the Earth thus creating a Total Solar Eclipse in the sign of the Ram.

Many people in the spiritual community talk about eclipse season as a big time for purging and letting go of the past. This is very true but it’s not the only task we have to tackle!

A New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries is quite potent in terms of new beginnings and initiative. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac wheel, it represents freshness, pionneering spirit, momentum and ignition. During this Eclipse, the Sun, the Moon, Venus, Mercury, Chiron and the North Node are in Aries: the focus is quite clear – we must regroup our energy to start something, using all the qualities of the Ram. This is a question of self (the Sun), emotions (the Moon), communication (Mercury), selfworth and values (Venus), personal path among the collective energy (North Node) and healing an old/recurring wound (Chiron). Of course, an eclipse means to abandon something and here the Universe is inviting us to let go of the fear or to transcend it. We always tend to feel like we’re not ready and even though preparation is key before any move, sometimes we have to jump, take that leap of faith instead of waiting and floating in between worlds.

Mars, Saturn and Neptune are in Pisces and I see them as the gate keepers of the imaginary realm. They have been opening the doors of intuition and imagination and they are now signalling us that we are ready to step up and onwards. What we have been dreaming of can take shape now!

Pluto in Aquarius is in a sextile to Neptune in Pisces and Venus in Aries and this feels like a green light for a soft yet powerful transformation. The waters are flowing and help us go deep: we can face what we need to face and move on. The wonderful spark of life of Venus will guide us to the surface and support us in taking ownership of our true essence and identity.

Mercury is retrograding and although it’s often seem as problematic, during this Solar Eclipse it actually plays a big role in toning down the heavy energies and understanding what prevent us from communicating properly.

On a side yet significant note, the Eclipse is occuring at 18:18 and it can be reduced to 9. In numerology, 9 is the number of completion, the page that we turn so we can start something new with the wisdom we have acquired along our journey. Let us all embody the Fool energy, so aligned with this Aries Solar Eclipse and let us move forward with faith in ourselves and in our power to make good things happen!

The greater the will, the greater the flow of energy.

  • Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Libra

Or how to clean up all of our relationships and start on a fresh note!

    Kelly Sikkema on Unsplash

On March 25th at 07:13 GMT, we will experience an intense Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 5° of Libra.

An eclipse is always a very powerful event that represents the end of something. As scary as it may seem, it is for our good. How many times do we pinpoint a problem or a toxic trait and don’t do anything about it? Eclipses are the Universe way to support us in doing all the release and letting go that are required to feel better and progress. It might feel uneasy but it is so essential.

In Libra, the main theme is relationships: from work partnerships to marriages, from friends to soul tribe, people that surround you as well as the dynamics of interaction with them are under the spotlight. The Moon is very personal and emotional and keeping the topic of relationships in mind, some questions could be brought up to the surface. What kind of relationships do we want to nurture? What have we learnt in our communication with people? What kind of behaviour is toxic or no longer working in our life? What relationship needs to change or be released?

This Full Moon in Libra is also echoing the South Node in Libra: people pleasing is detrimental to ourselves and if this is an ongoing pattern in our life, it may be a good time to implement change. Are we sometimes too diplomatic? Should we be more assertive when it comes to our values and needs? All this pondering is supported by the trine between Pluto in Aquarius and the Moon in Libra. Deep understanding, profound enlightenment about a situation and the ability to transform into a healthier modus operandi are very likely to appear.

With four planets in Pisces, our intuition is heightened and it feels like a gentle nudge to trust our instincts about someone or a relationship. To flow with what feels right in our heart, core and soul and to approach situations with discernment yet drops of intuitive energy can be very helpful. I feel like we’re balancing (the Scales of Libra) our intuition and emotions (Pisces) with our will to go forward as genuinely as possible (Sun, Mercury and North Node in Aries).

This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse represents a portal of healing and evolution. Uranus, the planet of change, revolution and sudden, electric momentum is in a trine with Venus, the ruler of this Full Moon: it might be an internal revolution, a quiet epiphany but an eye-opening one nonetheless. Once we are awake, there is no turning back and progress is the only way.

The energies of any eclipse can be chaotic and draining, sleep patterns could be disturbed, appetite might fluctuate and rest is recommended.

Sending you healing, nurturing and peaceful energy 🤍🤍🤍

  • Super New Moon in Pisces

Or how to dream, flow and make it happen!

    Pawel Czerwinski on Unsplash

On March 10th, the Sun and the Moon will be conjunct in Pisces, forming a Super New Moon in the constellation of the Fish.

A Super New Moon is very powerful as it is closer to the Earth than usual. In the sign of Pisces, the overarching themes are spirituality, compassion, mystical insights, creativity and inspiration. They will be enhanced throughout Pisces Season but are very strong during the New Moon.

A New Moon is always like a new beginning as it invites us to embrace the qualities of the sign it sits in and to plant seeds with the wisdom we can take from the zodiac sign and its archetype.

With Saturn, the Moon, the Sun and Neptune in Pisces, our emotional and dreamy realms are activated. Some may feel like starting a spiritual practice, some might want to go with the flow and let go of control issues and others may wish for more compassion in the world. There is mystery in the air and some might pursue it and try to decipher esoteric codes and ancient wisdom principles.

Liminal spaces and otherworldly realms are highlighted and we might receive downloads and inspiration (especially if we take time to meditate or immerse ourselves in contemplation). With Mars and Venus in Aquarius, we have the electric will and strength to take inspired action. Pluto in Aquarius is sextile Mercury at 0° of Aries and to me this gives a transformative power to our words: like a magician, what we say is a spell that has a great potential (especially under this Super New Moon) to become true. As beautiful as it is, one must be careful of what one wishes for and then states.

The sign of Pisces is also about healing and transcending physical and mental limiting beliefs. By being compassionate to ourselves and by loving every bit of who we are, we can heal yourself and then heal others. This lunation is a great reminder to be mindful of our inner dialogue: our cells, fluids and tissues absorb the energy and the words we send them.

A sextile between Saturn and Jupiter is helping us polishing situations in our material and emotional worlds. We are supported to find growth and meaning while working on ourselves. And the rewards can be quite significant if we take the time and put the effort!

This Super New Moon is really magical and intense and as all the planets are in direct motion, this is truly a great time to set our intentions. As Pisces is associated with empathy and compassion, let us all wish for a better world. May all beings everywhere be happy and free and may our thoughts, words and action contribute to the well-being, happiness and freedom of everyone and everything on our planet.

Lots of love, compassion and peace 🤍🤍🤍

When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

  • Full Moon in Virgo

Or how to get emotional clarity and decipher physical signals!

    William Farlow for Unsplash

On February 24th, at 12.30 GMT, the Sun in Pisces at 5° will oppose the Moon in Virgo at the same exact degree and form a Full Moon in Virgo.

The Pisces/Virgo axis represents emotional and physical health and the idea that when we merge a healthy emotional body with a healthy physical body, we can reach our soul and its wisdom.

So it may be very well the quest we have to start under this Full Moon! With Mercury, the Sun, Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, our feelings are under the spotlight: where do we feel limited or constrained? Where do we hold resistance? What is preventing us to go with flow of our inner self and guidance?

The Moon in Virgo is here to assist us in our journey towards wisdom. Any emotional signal can be felt in the body and this is exactly what will be highlighted with this Full Moon. Do we have any pain or tightness in our body? Is it related to frustration, perfectionnism, anger or impatience? Is there some energetical blockage that takes shape as pain or stiffness in our physical body?

The most significant question is: What do we need to release?

Once we tune in to ourselves and pinpoint any resistance, the road opens, the water flows and we can experience more ease. This is essential to unlock our true power under this Full Moon, if we flow with life and its elements, we can embody change, hope and success!

Pluto, Mars and Venus in Aquarius are reminding us that profound transformation, actions and self-worth are intricately linked and that an electrical impulse is carried more swiftly and powerfully in flowy waters. In other words, once our emotional and physical bodies are cleansed, we are wired to receive inspiration, genius ideas and even otherworldly knowledge.

This Full Moon in Virgo is truly inviting us to do a big cleanse so we can become empowered and successful.

Sending you lots of healing and pure energy and lots of love 🤍✨🤍
