This Super Full Moon is closing the cycle of the 2022’s super moons with a bang and lots of electricity!

The Moon in Aquarius is opposing the Sun in Leo and will be playing the perfect symphony when the Moon reaches 19° of Aquarius, on August 12th, 01.35 GMT.

Why is this Super Moon so crucial for us?

Full Moons represent a time of letting go, turning a page or closing a chapter. They gather the energies of the lunar cycle in a bright climax before a New Moon emerges. They always feel quite emotional and this one is particularly potent: it’s a Super Full Moon! The feels on steroids…

This Super Full Moon is also forming a square with Uranus in Taurus (and more loosely with the North Node and Mars) which brings its lot of tension and friction.

In these tense skies and right after the heavy energies of the Lion’s Gate Portal, we may feel drained, exhausted or might be craving some foods. Today is probably one of the most important dates of the year. The Lion’s Gate Portal, an annual cosmic event, reaches its climax on August 8th.

This is a very energetic moment, the skies are quite tense and Sirius, the brightest star aligns with the Sun to create a divine gate of possibilities.

The Sun is in flamboyant and fiery Leo, the Moon in powerful and strong Sagittarius so the Fire element is strong and activated. On the other hand, Venus, the planet of love, beauty and artistry is trining dreamy Neptune. What an explosive couple! So how can we get the best of both worlds?

The intensity of fire, its bright and potent energy have to be channelled through calm and creative endeavours. The cosmic forces at play are the perfect setting for divination (tarot, pendulum, runes…) as well as creative arts (we’re talking full spectrum here, no limitations allowed!)

This day could bring you lots of insight and you may even find answers to significant questions (if you take time to sit with yourself and ignore the madness around you!)

- On a piece of paper, write down a list of habits, thoughts and fears you would like to get rid of and burn it with the white candle. Thank yourself and the Universe for this big release of negativity and throw away the ashes
- On a fresh new piece a paper, set your intentions and remember that your power is always in your heart space so be true and authentic
- Take some time to gaze at the flame and reflect on your intentions and dreams and let the candle consume itself or put a lid on it (don’t blow on it!)
May this wonderful portal bring you all that you need to become the person you want to be!

The veil between realms

Blame it on the moonlight!

The Moon is the guardian of our nights. She is the pale light in the shadow, inspiring our subconscious with deep emotions.

She represents the thin veil between the conscious and the unconscious, between dream and reality.

As she watches over our dreams, she hears the wolves howling at her. She embodies their suffering and the prayers of all creatures on Earth.

She’s the mother of the Night, she has mastered the art of playing with shadows.

She can create as many illusions as she wants, she can bring back memories of past lives, she can ignite new ideas and deep passions. Her intuition allows her to see through the darkness.

She is the empath living in the night, enlightened by the Sun she never meets.

Sometimes she is overwhelmed with our emotions and we can slightly feel her pain.

All night crying and waiting for her lover, the Sun, knowing they can never be together.

All she can get is a sparkle reflecting on the sea in the early morning, as she gently fades away.

The night after, she comes back with renewed dreams and hope.

The Moon asks us to check on our emotions and to validate them. She lifts the curtain between what we dream of and what we can achieve.

Sometimes, we tend to delude ourselves because we can’t see the big picture.

The Moon teaches us to see through the shadows and to clear out the clutter. Everything she brings to light, in our dreams or feelings, prepares us for the next chapter.

All we need to do with the Moon is to accept our emotions and to let them flow like the river on the tarot card.

When the Moon appears, we must pay attention to our dreams for we are about to discover many things about ourselves!

When we listen to our inner self, we know that our intuition will always lead us to the right path.

We can tell the Moon about our pain and you know what? She will embrace us and whisper to us with her motherly love: ‘don’t worry my dear, this too shall pass’.

The Awakened One

The fool is the very first of the major arcanas in the tarot. A man, followed by his dog, taking a trip into the unknown with nothing else than his bundle on the shoulder.

Take a walk on the wild side!

He stands on the edge of a cliff, ready to jump. He’s the fool, isn’t he? His loyal dog may surely jump with him.

What if the fool was a pilgrim? What if he was the awakened one?

Actually, he has left everything unnecessary behind him. All he has in his bundle is his soul, a pure soul, innocent and brave. He got rid of his ego and travels light with all he is made of. The dog is like a mirror of the love the fool has to offer.

The fool has walked a long way, deeply knowing that wisdom comes from experiences and detachment.

He’s not afraid to jump from that cliff, because he understands that it is only a part of his journey.

He knows that when he closes the circle, another cycle will begin, offering new adventures. He has replaced fear by faith, hesitation by confidence, hate by love, ego by detachment, suffering by learning. He is in peace in a morning sunrise.

He is the awakened monk starting the 22 major arcanas or closing them, taking new beginnings over and over.

The fool reminds us to be present, to be totally there, now. His dog tells us how much we need to have compassion and love for ourselves, and the others.

Both remind us to be loyal to ourselves whatever we are experiencing.

Each time we feel stressed or anxious, we can refer to him, we can take this leap of faith and jump in the unknown, leaving behind fear and ego.

It is nothing more than taking the risk of living!

Or how to make an entrance!

Feels like déjà-vu?

Did you all feel the crumbling down of old patterns, rotten structures and weak foundations?

If not, you may have had vivid dreams, intense fatigue or even a deep questioning time about your life’s trajectory.

And you may be asking yourself: ‘where do I begin?’. And that’s the perfect start!

Energies have been building up for a while now and the skies are quite tumultuous at the moment. Not only did we just have a powerful New Moon in Leo (royal, flamboyant and generous) but also a very strong conversation in the sign of Taurus, including Uranus (the planet of sudden change, chaos, disruption and newness), the North Lunar Node (indicating the path ahead and the direction we should follow) and last but not least, Mars, the planet of power, courage, ambition and sexual energy. Add to the mix Lughnasadh or Imbolc and there you get quite a cocktail!

So enough with the explanations, the real question now is: how to survive or even thrive in such a context? As corny as these points may seem, basics will always work. There is so much wisdom in common sense!
