Or how to navigate blurry environments!

Mercury retrogrades are nothing to be feared despite their recently gained importance! Over the last few years, we’ve had lots of information about this particular movement, infused with the common fears of signing contracts, having troubles communicating or even travelling! Although there’s some truth in all of that, let us not forget that Mercury is going retrograde three times a year (and you survived it!) so time for us to debunk the myth or at least have an alternative approach to that celestial event!
Planets in retrograde can be seen as a request from the Universe to look inward and reflect in order to gain knowledge or perspective about a situation. During retrogrades, the world around us appears foggy: neither answers nor clarity can be found outside! Mercury represents the way we communicate and interact with others and while in retrograde, the fast-moving planet asks us to examine and ponder on the words we use in our daily conversations (including our inner dialogue).
Mercury will be in retrograde from September 9 to September 23 in the sign of Libra and from September 23 to October 2 in the sign of Virgo. What does it mean? An how can we make the most of it? Here are a few tips that will hopefully guide you through this event. In true Libra and Virgo fashion, partnerships, agreements/commitments, daily habits and work are strongly highlighted!
- Review everything that has been in the back of your mind or even bothering you
- Take a good look into contracts or agreements before signing them and don’t hesitate to ask if anything is unclear
- Take your time with relationships or partners and communicate as simply and clearly as possible
- Reassess your organisation in all areas (home, work, finances…)
- Have a copy or a back up for your files
- Refocus on you priorities: what’s essential in your life? how good is your work-life balance?
- Regroup your energy, retrogrades can be tiring
Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
Carl Jung
